Payball’s mission is to simplify the lives of administrators, coaches, managers, officials and service providers in amateur sports; many of whom spend countless hours volunteering their time simply for the love of their sport, their kids and their community.

Payball application allows for the management of sports teams, including payments to staff and team members, taking out the headache of delaying games while operating on an effortless payment system.

The challenge

Payball reached out to BeCurious as part of their business expansion. With native iOS and Android apps already deployed, Payball needed to scale up to a desktop application for easier management from their clients’ offices. A desktop version would also allow for better tracking with mass payments. They also needed to update and redesign their native mobile apps for a better payment experience and to integrate new WePay APIs

Integration

Utilizing Stripe as the payment system in the original mobile build, we needed to boost the system for the needs of desktop application. During testing and initial diagnosis, we uncovered ways the APIs could be tweaked to simplify payment processes while improving the user experience through onboarding and registration.

Results.

We launched the desktop experience to an incredible response. Our intuitive flow builds using the latest technologies also allowed for mass payment across an entire organization in less than 20 seconds through a simple import of a mass payment spreadsheet.
